Income Guideline
Generally,
an applicant should make about three times the monthly rent. This income level should allow a tenant
to pay the rent, utilities, and other expenses of everyday living. For example, a tenant making $1,500 per month would
be able to afford rent of $500 per month. Obviously, this income requirement can be altered (lowered) significantly
if the tenant is receiving government assistance including Section 8, welfare, ADC, food stamps, etc.
